That rose is gorgeous and I believe very hard to find. I have Grandmother’s Hat though, what do you think the odds are I might get a sport and be able to root it?

oursteelers 8B PNW -- Some clones of "Grandmother's Hat" sport easily and often. Others don't. My original GramHat rarely sports to pale, but is often subtly striped. Others sport often, and are rarely striped. Where'd yours come from???

Beautiful, Jeri. I keep hoping for a sport or two, myself, lol. My GH came from either Angel Gardens or Rose Petals, can't remember which and my records aren't on the computer (I know, I know, lol). But one of the Florida nurseries for sure. Did you supply the propagation material for either of those nurseries?

John, I MIGHT have supplied Angel Gardens, but if so, it was a long time ago. If I did, it'd have been the Limberlost clone, and that's the one that rarely sports.

I actually ASKED Annie's Annuals where theirs came from, and they said that they got if from Barbara Worl. In that case, there's a chance it might sport to T.M.

I should try to root some 'Tina Marie' this winter.

OMG! Tina Marie may be even lovlier than the original…if that is possible. I am an absolute sucker for blush pink roses. TM’s delicate coloring and darker to lighter unfurling of petals are fantastic! I am so glad you are propagating her. She’d look REALLY good with a purple companion like my Tuscany Superb. Alas, my garden is already packed beyond a shoehorn…..
