could we see the plant and pot but not so close???

a small plant in a big pots sometimes doesnt grow right ... so it is suggested you grow a babe to size by repotting it from small pot to large.. as it matures ...

if you are going to err.. ALWAYS err toward too dry.. your plant shows no signs.. on this one pic.. that it has ever been too dry .... and that actually means.. you are watering properly ... dont change your watering protocol unless the plant shows / tells you .. there is a problem ...

It's not a baby Rubber Plant, if by that you mean Ficus elastica.

it's not getting enough light.

More light = even smaller leaves.

Definitely not F elastica, and probably not a 'baby rubber plant', which is only one of the common names for Peperomia obtusifolia, a plant with obovate leaves as opposed to the ovate leaves seen on your plant. The primary distinction between obovate and ovate leaves is, obovate leaves lack the pointed 'drip tip' (leaf tip comes to a point) seen in the leaves of your plant.

While it could be a trick of the light, the plant looks overall quite chlorotic (yellow). Very often that indicates low fertility and especially a lack of adequate nitrogen availability. Have you been fertilizing regularly? When did you last fertilize and what did you use? Supplemental nutrition in the form of fertilizer is an essential part of the care regimen of almost all plants we might choose to grow indoors.
