Which entryway light to pair with the living room light? The two lights will be in eyesight of one another. We live in an American 1930s Tudor cottage and are updating lighting. My husband is more modern whereas I am more traditional so we have a mix in our house. Most furnishings have a subtle modern/Art Deco/Hollywood regency vibe (way more sparing with the color than typical Hollywood regency — for example blue regency style chairs with white walls and white sofa) with a few antiques thrown in (for example 30s side board and Louis mirror, chinoiserie panels). All original finishes in the house are unlaquered brass, and I am adding in a few dark bronze/black for another finish. The house has lots of arches as well as gables and Georgian leaded windows so a mix of sharp angles and curves.
