Sure, you can paint out or remove the wood exterior trim. It doesn't seem integral to the design of the house in this case, so wouldn't lose much by altering the details.

Yes it is possible, to remove the tudor elements and possibly add siding or even paint the stucco. I dont think this started out tudor but was converted. The rooflines don't scream tudor

Bet that trim work- the only part that says Tudor- pops right off. The rest is how much you want to spend I guess but that trim's removal gives you a nice two story.

Of course the one you posted isn’t this age, it’s a ‘70’s - ‘80’s take on Tudor, but I still think it’s a nice-looking house. It has a certain retro charm and character. I would paint the stucco a slightly warmer color.

(But I know I’m the turd in the punch bowl here.)

American 20th Mid-Century

Hi. We removed the boards and restucco'ed our tutor and it looks great. We did need to add character back like shutters and we are going to add more outdoor lighting for interest.

It is not a tudor house just tudor type trim which is remveable ans many of the above ideas would work. How expensive depends on the choices you make . Please do not add shutters to those windows .
