There's a lot going on in the room already. The balcony rail, woodwork, beautiful windows. So this wall needs to be simple. Maybe one large artwork. Something abstract with only a few colors.

I vote for leaving it bare. There’s so much going on already!

I think the room has to be grounded/have a focal point, so suggest creating a blank canvas and your options will increase and your choice will stand out. Remove shelves on left, coat rack on right, paint wall the same color (including chair rail, or better yet remove and fill/sand holes before painting).

If too time consuming to configure or not in your budget, head to Home Sense or Marshalls, as they have very reasonable and different pieces. It may take a few visits, but inventory changes fairly quickly.

There is always Ikea if interested in a collage. If going this route, there is lots of on line advice around placement and mix up frames, content and matt sizes.

If it weren't so far from the actual kitchen I would have said a huge chalk boar/calendar for what appears to be a very busy family.

With all the beautiful wood in your room, you might want to look at art that ties in. Here's a talented artist. You might be able to commission a large piece from him, or from another woodworker.

Such a pretty space! You have so much light! I think a plant wall would be gorgeous and restful.
