It is a type of fern and I'd guess blue star fern, Phlebodium aureum, aka cabbage palm fern.

These are tough plants. I laugh when reading "keep out of direct sunlight" care instructions. I planted mine in the ground (SoCal, in a sandy soil area) in some protected beds. They spread into sunny areas, where some get four hours of mid-day sun. They don't seem to notice a problem, even during 100+F summer days. YMMV, and I would not recommend it for any containered ones. But established individuals are tougher than they may appear.
