You might be able to get a Lazy Boy for that price. I’ve bought 3 of them now, all various types for 2 homes. Absolutely love them and sooooo comfy and hold up to abuse. You can’t go wrong with any of them really.

I would only buy a sofa online as a last resort - say if you live out in the middle of nowhere and can't get to a store easily. You'll only be able to try the relative softness/firmness of the cushions by sitting on one, and what you like may or may not be what the next person likes. Also, if you go to a store they should be able to get you a fabric sample to take home (or have one mailed to you) so you can see if it is going to look good with your floors and anything else it needs to go with.

Though I haven’t used them myself, you might look at maidenhome.com based on feedback I’ve heard. We’ve had good luck with Bassett but have only purchased from them in person. You might check their site…bassettfurniture.com.

"out of the way"? Sorry, I thought you were shopping online. One or the other, Roger or Chris, will actually speak with you. You tell them what you want, the size of people sitting on the sofa, and they will recommend. You get tons of fabric choices, etc. As custom as you can get online.

Take a trip to go test a sofa and BTW IMO sectionals are the most expensive way to buy the fewest number of comfortable seats so think sofa and 2 chairs . Armrests = comfort .
