I’ve noticed a lot of home decor on social media has gold accessories and hardware now a days. I’m use to the silver/chrome finishes and wondering if that is considered outdated now?

I’m closing on a house soon and evaluating how I would like to decorate the home. Is it a bad idea to stick to silver finishes? Afraid the gold trend may come and go. What are your thoughts?
