I actually have a photo of one of my P hosta, Patriot. The foliage tends to be a bit upright, is that what you see on yours?

Praying Hands - sorry about the weeds, I did get them out.

Puddles and Bumps. The lawn behind is the next area to become garden after my DD's wedding.

Paula, I KNOW I am left brain, all that perfection and orderliness……but I see a strange yellow bird…..or a weird bunny with skinny ears…..hahahaha. BTW, will we have a NOIDS post?

Jocl17, the colors on Pizzazz are amazing! You have so many great hostas, I am so happy you found this forum of hosta lovers!

Saija, your Paradise Joyce looks so different from mine. Phantom is a very nice hosta….

sherry, your Patriot has such a lovely deep green color.

Shadow, your Paul’s Glory has such a lovely soft coloration to it.

Peren, is your DD’s wedding being held in your beautiful gardens? That grass area will have you digging all summer…….OMG! Party Popper is a cutie…. Powder Blue is such a gorgeous blue….I am testing myself, is that Blue Angel behind Patriot? All of yours are terrific, but I think yours is the best Praying Hands I have ever seen. Belongs in HL.

Debra: I think many of my hostas look different. I don't know if it's climent, lack of sun, drought or what. My Paradise Joyce has narrow leaves and leaf pattern is not so visible. Also other hostas has narrow leaves. Many have mentioned soft colors in my hostas. I can't answer why.

    Paradise Glory April to November

Party Popper and Pandora have me searching my supplier lists. Also looking for Paradise Power.

Paisley Border is the reverse sport of Lakeside Paisley Print and one I'm looking forward to getting bigger.

Pamela Lee - a little one but I'm a sucker for any green on green pattern.

Paradise Tritone - not ready for prime time, but here anyway.

I see a prehistoric bird..not sure what that means 😂..

my pics have let me down..no nice pics of Praying Hands..(mine's ugly..that's probably why 😂)..Plantaginea..Paul's Glory (unsure of ID on PG)..

I can share an old cropped photo of Pineapple Upside Down Cake..near the bottom right corner..

and a pic taken 10-21-21 of Pearl Lake..there's a group on the bottom left corner..it was starting to go down by this time but is very pretty all summer..

I'm thankful for everyone that posts their nice photos of their pretty hosta in the alphabet 🙂..

my goal is to become more like you!..

Sandyslopes, I really like the puckered leaves of Piedmont Gold……. I am a sucker for crumpled looking leaves!

Old_dirt, now I know how beautiful my Prairie Moon will get someday! Your Paradigm looks different to me….. then I saw Shadow’s comment about Super Nova…..hmmm, whada ya think?

jocl17, both you and mbug have beautiful Pizzazzs…….that a hosta new to me, but I love the looks of it.

mbug, that Paradise Island is sooooo bright and yellow—-does it maintain that color?

    debra

Utog, we were posting at the same time….. your Parisian Silk started me on the hunt for it last year. Still hope to find it!! Also love that Plum Delicious!

    Praying Hands

Debra yes the wedding will be in the garden on Sept. 3rd so I don't know how much I will be able to accomplish. That is Blue Angel behind Patriot so you passed your test with flying colours! I always enjoy seeing your beautiful Prairie Sky and then Lisa & utog posted beauties too. This is obviously a must have!

Lisa thank you! So happy you got Party Popper, looking forward to seeing pics.

Aww Sherry thank you! It is the last section to complete my lawn-gone in this section of yard. I am sure I will be speechless, aching and exhausted while I am working on it! Am I crazy, yes I think so!

Steve good luck with your suppliers. I hope anyone who liked and wants Party Popper can find it.

There are no shortage of tremendous P's as this thread illustrates so well. Just gorgeous everyone!

Sandra & Debra, Thank you for the comments on my Paradigm. I got this one from a fund raiser at Wolters Gardens, would you believe nine years ago. A small single bare root eye. I had two but the other withered away after a few years but it also had the rust marks. I will try to remember to check the flowers next year as the HL lists one as white and the other as light lavender.

Beth, love Pineapple Upside Down Cake……glad I bought it this January! But I don’t see Prairie Moon….. maybe it didn’t post.
old_dirt, it will be interesting to see what the flowers tell.

Paula, it doesn't look like I'm right brained or left brained! Yikes!!!

    Plantaginea

    Pocketful of Sunshine

Prairie Moon (quite a contrast to Clear Fork River Valley on its right)

newhostalady, that is a fantastic contrast and I don't think I have seen Prairie Moon's leaves glow quite like that before. Nice. One question: What is the variegated shrub in your second photo? That is awesome.

Mosswood, Prairie Moon has that beautiful coloring each spring. Such a contrast with Clear Fork River Valley.

The variegated shrub I think you are asking about is Emerald Gaiety Euonymus.

Well, I managed to get half-way through my Ps. Lets see if there's anything interesting left to post. Peek-a-boo Purple not looking very purple.

    Peppermint Ice still growing up.

Petticoat Junction is usually such a good-looking plant. I can't believe this is the only pic I took of it last year.

    Picasso

Have I mentioned how much I like the green-on-green variegation before? It doesn't matter whether it's the early season light green variety . . .

or the later season dark version

of Piecrust Promise. I ordered Potomac Glory this year to plant nearby. Good to see Jocl posting such a nice looking one.

    Uggh, I have so many Ps . . .

Lucky for you some of my Ps aren't worth showing. Here's the rest of them.

    Punky

Prime Meridian - new last year

    Prestige and Promise

Prairie Sky is my best blue.

Parisian Silk is another really nice blue, but not as good a grower.

Bought without a tag. I think I thought it was Curly Fries or Pineapple Upside Down Cake. I'm pretty sure it is Pineapple Juice and I just love the color changing thing it does. From green all the way to parchment with this bright yellow in between for a June and July.

Seeing all the beautiful plants gets me excited to see the snow quit but after the terribly hot and dry summer we had last year and our well went almost dry and my plants cooked maybe I will see the positive of the snow. I haven't bought any new plants for some time now but here is my Praying Hands that always does well regardless of the heat

As always, that is the best Praying Hands, ever.
