Keep looking for things you love… it’s difficult for others to pick art for you. I might suggest you do some layering like in this pic from Pinterest. And some reflective items. I think you could even try putting something a bit higher that lays on the top wood trim…

On Etsy.com, they have “real touch “ tulips. I was thinking adding some red and white tulips in the crock. Brightly colored glass votives and simply removing some items to freshen up.

Thank you both for the ideas. I have seen that feather picture and almost bought it! The trim above is a soffit and overhangs the mantle. I sometimes put a Xmas wreath there. I do need to keep the lights as it is dim there. Was also thinking I need something long and large because of the size of the mantle

It is very long. You may not need to decorate the whole thing. The less is more idea. I think this is pretty. Not a big fan of a window in this picture, but I like the stacked frames.

Yes. Stacked frames look nice but my mantle is so narrow it wouldn’t work
