That's a good point! But it seems most lights would be a pain to clean. Do you have a picture of something that you think would work well?

How about something like Rejuvenation.com Orillia chandelier? More of a timeless style, frosted globes, comes in 8 lengths, two finishes.

It's a long room but that fixture isn't really doing much, because it is centered to the fireplace but nothing else it is slightly out of context if you will. I would be installing a bronze track and then have directional lighting to hight light the artwork, fireplace, and general room lighting. you could also hang a pendant off the track over the fireplace.

If you do stick with a single light do a wheel style.

I put this “Chifdale Trio” fixture in and love it. It’s a dimmable LED. Maybe it would work for your space. (Vonn Lighting, aluminum or black finish)
