Tricia E we ended up deciding to go with twelve oaks lemon tree but our renos are not till August so install is still come time away. I could find enough reviews for NAF

@Nicole - I know, not a lot of reviews but good specs on the brand. I have a friend installing Jordan, can’t wait to see hers too.

@Robyn Emsley Were you able to find more pics of Yorkville? I want to know if it's "knotty" lol. I've only been able to get my hands on a small sample, would be nice to see some planks laid out.

@Tricia E It is knotty which is what I wanted! The first photo below is the sample I had and the second photo is another sample piece I found online that shows more of the knots.

I like that it is "embossed in register" so the grooves in the planks match the wood grain image perfectly. The company we're working with said they install NAF weekly for years and no issues. I'll add pics when ours is installed.

I can share my experience too as Robyn was kind enough to give me her feedback. We are very happy with our install. We had to replace our entire subfloor in our 1960s side split as the old subfloor had large spaces in between. Although an unexpected cost, we haven’t had any issues. No joint failure or discolouration, we’ve had them installed since July. We have a retriever who is messy with her water bowl and can be a little skittish on floors without rugs and far so good - no water issues or scratches. Hope this helps. We installed Yorkville - the pictures show more variation in them, the darker parts are not as noticeable in person.

Our experience is good and bad. The floor has only been installed for six months so can’t say much in terms of longevity. So far they are very easy to clean, look great and seem durable against my toddler and dog.

No joint failure, warping or discolouration. I’m waiting to see how they perform once we go from freezing temps to warm weather.

Like Tricia mentioned, we also did a huge amount of subfloor prep – all new plywood and self levelling compound. Unfortunately, the prep still wasn’t sufficient and we are left with clicking/crackling sounds in areas of the house.

If you Google “LVP crackling sound” you’ll find a lot of articles and videos that give you an idea.

The installers were very experienced and said they've never had a product so sensitive to subfloor imperfections so if you live in an older home with uneven floors, it may not be the best choice. They redid half of our house and the noise still happens so we've accepted it as is.

I bought a empty 30 unit apartment building and renovated it just over 3 years ago

I had NAF AquaPlus Vinyl Planks put in all the units

Beautiful Arctic color

I had the front entrance a main hallways done as well, as a stopgap until the building starting generating money, then I would research and replace with something more robust

It is still like brand new, even in the front main entrance that about 70 people travel across each day

No need to replace, it still looks brand new

What was the subfloor?

Old tile on poured concrete , put right over the old tiles after they where professionally cleaned of course, no messy removal cost as they would have been tar/glued to the concrete underneath and disposal fee, Floor is great as long as your floor underneath is solid , even if it's wood , it's all good, also this is great in the bathroom/kitchen and foyer of apartment for continuity, no issue with water whatsoever, they are solid vinyl planks that are just like brand new as of today, as I was at the building to show an apartment today

This is an amazing product. We Design and Renovate and have used it for years. Every client we have ever installed it for absolutely loves the product. In our own home we used the Yorkville and it really is a beautiful colour. Warm and traditional yet contemporary and modern. We had a Mid Century Modern home and I really loved it. I miss that colour actually. We have moved and I have chosen the Lighthouse as it suits the new house. I still miss my Yorkville though fwiw.

How are your floors holding up? We are looking at NAF vinyl planks as an option.

@phillip_vickerman Mine still making clicking/cracking sounds when walking so subfloor need to be solid and totally flat. We have one plank that has broken over a slight dip in the floor. Other than that they look good, easy to clean, no joints coming apart.

I’ve had mine in for just over a year, four seasons here. No issues and still look brand new.

We have had this floor for 4 years and initially loved it. Unfortunately now there are massive cracks everywhere and large pieces broken off. We put down mostly new subfloor and laid over hardwood also. Very disappointed in the quality. We will need to replace floor soon as we have small children that have been hurt from the cracks in the vinyl.

Did you have your flooring installed professionally, and because the warranty is so long did the manufacturer replace it? We are on the cusp of pur this floor. I work in manuf, so to me, undersdtand that thetethere always "lemons" in the process that slip through the cracks unnoticed. Even though it is a pain to replace, if the manufacturers warranty is hard to collect on or process, that product isn't worth my money. Has anyone else had similar problems?
