I have not had any experience with it. Some of the Profusion and Zahara zinnias are somewhat similar in flower and plant form. Deer resistance can vary with the local deer conditions. We are in a rural environment with all kinds of delectable native plants available to the deer, so deer aren't a problem here for my zinnias, although I don't think zinnias are considered to be very "deer-resistant."

Here's a list, from Rutgers, of plants rated by deer resistance. There aren't many annuals at all and none that would fill the same role in a garden. I would add that, for early flowering, it would be necessary to set transplants out quite early, which increases the likelihood of deer damage because fawns will try everything, even plants that adult deer won't touch.
