flooring transition

Our open floor plan currently has hardwood in front, then tile in kitchen then laminate in back
lounge. Need to extend our hardwood in front to another room that is currently carpeted but it’s discontinued so need to replace the hardwood. We also want to replace the laminate.
Possible options/questions:

  1. Rip it all out - tile only 4 yrs old so hate to do this plus love the creamy white in kitchen.
  2. Replace front wood and back laminate with same wood - would this be incorrect as it would create the choppy look we have now (dark, light, dark)
  3. Replace front hardwood, keep tile, replace back room with a wood same color as tile. This would create less of a choppy look, going from dark to light and staying light but then adds another floor material in an open space.
**note there is a living room to right with Berber so currently have 4 floor materials.
