We live in a stucco home and want to install a retractable screen in from of our exterior front door. This of course requires a surface/face mount installation, which requires a door trim or brick mold, which we don’t have.

What is the easiest way to install a door trim to stucco? Can we just adhere the trim with glue and caulk, or is drilling needed? What would be the best material to use for the trim?
