could you mock up black framing around the winw snd door frame?

I did one thin and one thicker.

I just did a fast job in paint 3d from windows. You find elements you like then snip and paste them in.

Since the window frame is already black I would matte black all new wood. Then I would add two modern light fixtures on each side of the door.

If its not going to be too hot, paint the stucco a charcoal colour, leave the wood as is and add wooden eves and then change out the door to a black one with glass (acid etched if you need privacy). Add some greenery to the landscapping to complete the look.

The roof color is throwing everything off. Unless it's not the purply red color that it appears to be in the photos. If it is, I would look for a way to change it along with the other suggestions for a black door, etc. A medium to dark gray, or a true terra cotta color would look better. Or black, but that might make it too hot.

Yes, chrcoal and wood, especially cedar, work well together, but may depend on roof color.
