Walking blind here and google images doesn't seem to be working for my keywords

I've got a 36" pots that are getting rose standards (treeform) planted in them.

I've yet to receive them but the main stem should be about 3' before the branching.

What dwarf companion plants would you recommend. I know this is the companion plants forum. This is a new planting. Maybe I should just leave it bare so that the roots have no competition. Open to dwarf height stuff for companion planting and or cascading down the pot. The blooms on the tree roses coming in will be light/mid pink and mid apricot'ish in color.
