    Brandon - I love your short stories/descriptions of individual roses! I do think you might get more people to look at them by adding the name of the rose to your posts, instead of just numbers.


    Old Blush - I have been wondering if I wanted this rose for decades - I keep going back and forth. You have done it - I am sure it will be happy in my zone 9/10, so I am definitely getting one.


    Safrano - I have had one plant of this rose since 1989 - it was here when we moved in, and from family lore I am pretty sure it was planted by my FIL in the mid 1970s. So, that makes it 50 ish years old. Mine in our warm climate starts blooming in late January, and some years never stops - other years it stops in Nov/Dec. Here are some pics of it I took this past January:




    Next two are the same bush - from 180 degree different angles (the red buds are Cramoisi Superior, which has intermingled with it (and it starting to bloom almost as early).
