What is the OUTSIDE dimension OF ALL THE SEATING and the piano. ? It looks very crowded. Try making an L of the two sofas, ( one facing fire ) and REMOVE one chair.

Yes, to get a good look, you will need to go under the piano. You need at least a 10 x 14 rug in the space. But un choke it first : )

The outside is 19x19. A 9x12 goes under all the front legs of furniture. I moved the sofas back a bit but still away from walls :)

I have downsized from a 6500 square foot house. Yes, furniture is closer together than my old family room, but it’s also comfy and cozy. I saw a photo from a pro who had the same setup and it looked great!! In reality, it’s not as tight as the photo makes it look.
