We are building a new cabin with one living space that will house the kitchen, dining and living areas. The walls and cathedral ceiling will be reclaimed fir. The floor will be dyed cement. I am struggling with the kitchen cabinets and appliance color. I'm leaning towards something painted, possibly cream shaker cabinets with black, honed granite counters and stainless appliances, rather than using more reclaimed wood. The kitchen is a small galley with a pennisula facing the dining area. Windows on the West and East. There are no uppers. Here are a couple of my inspiration photos. Thanks in advance for your help!
