Coffee table paint options?

I have an old coffee table that I want to make work for another 1-2 years because its a great stable table for young kids
Staining is not an option so paint it is. My decor is neutral sith navy blue accents, floors are light wood/cool tones.
im considering painting a pewter gray, a charcoal, or even a midnight/grayish blue.
thoughts?
