Resin pots are lightweight, inexpensive and come in a huge range of sizes, shapes and colors. They are also extremely weather resistant.

For $800, you should have no trouble finding 4 good pots. I saw some good looking ones for under $100 at Home Depot the other day. Looked like maybe 15 gallon.

I've just got 2 cement-looking resin planters 22Wx20H from Costco for $21.99 each. They had beautiful ceramic planter (16 Wx20H) for $39.99 last year, probably they will be available in April/May.

I like homedepot.com for cheap large pots. Do you have Orscheln? I saw some nice large ones there the other day. Our local garden center has large (20 in?) Terra cotta pots for 20$. Those are my favorite.

What size pots do you guys use for David Austin roses? I remember reading recommended size of pots on their website and thinking it was very large.

Yulia, I've always gone about 18- 20 inches deep for pots since the rose roots grow down quite a lot. Best to give them plenty of room.
