Not a builder, but I am assuming that the "traditional" Murphy bed needs secure framing. You have 80" between windows, so for a free standing bed that's plenty of room. But, what if you need 2' or so for studs on either side of the Murphy bed frame. Just in case I am on to something, take a look at this bed from Wayfair. Unfortunately, I can't copy the picture, but see how the t v and cabinet are arranged in one of the photos.

Is this a play room, a guest room or an officce? I think a guest room should be inviting and so not a multi purpose space for sure not a play room. If a client needs to have an office in a guest roomI usually put the office in the closet so it can be closed off when there are guests then a small armoire for the guest to use IMO the bed would be best on the wall with the built in in this case and that is the only wall you can install a murphy bed . I would do a nice sofa bed put the office in the closet and use the builtins for a small hanign space for clothes and a couple of drawers for guests you will still have space for a TV .

Why a murphy bed? Why not just put in a pull-out sofa? The desk/tv across from it will be fine.

patricia - if we do a sofa bed, would you still recommend doing it against the wall where the built in is vs. the other wall in between the windows or was that just for the murphy bed?

Your best results with your home will be achieved by looking at the entire house and site in addressing your concerns you have brought up in your multiple discussions. I can only assume it is a remodeling and addition to an existing structure since one of the drawings notes to remove an existing window; which may explain the oddities in the layout.
