I’m tasked with updating the walls of our sad corporate basement office. What would you do with $5,400 to update the walls? The curved wall is made of cement block with mud in the cracks, and the other walls are cheap wood paneling with mud in the cracks (which is cracking) over more cement block. And there’s peeling wallpaper covering everything. If we need to remove the wallpaper, I’m guessing that will take most of the budget, so I would love if anyone could suggest an affordable way to cover it. I love the idea of a vertical shiplap look, but I’m unsure how to attach it to the walls and if it could be accomplished with our budget.
