I’m having trouble designing this room and bringing it up to style. I love McGee and Studio design but I almost feel like I have too small of a space to pull it off. It’s 12’ x 15’.

I know I’ll need a new rug. Can I go darker even though I have gray sofas? I need new end tables. The entertainment cabinet shelving definitely needs different decor but the shelving has minimal space. Also new pillows because these are fraying. I’d also like to figure out what to do with the baby toys 😅 was thinking a little “Montessori shelf” under the window? But don’t want to make the space feel more cluttered. What do you think about mounting the TV? Is there a more modern/McGee-like electric heater? Or is it best to get rid of that altogether and just have a empty fireplace. Thanks in advance for any tips. Feel free to be ruthless and pick it apart! I need all the help I can get.
