Hi all!

We will soon be working on redoing our basement and I've been grappling with wall colour and deciding on accent pieces.

So far, we're thinking of doing loose lay tiles on the floor in a light grey. See photo. Wainscot maybe in a mid-grey and cream on the upper walls.

The sofa and loveseat will stay, as well as the area rug. See photos above.

As far as accent pieces, I've been looking at c tables so we can snack in front of the TV. I was also thinking of having a console table on the far wall to display artwork, etc.

The basement is low-light, with small, high windows.

The look we're going for is rustic or industrial.

Any suggestions for wainscot/wall colours?
