Hard to tell from here. Love the tile!! Matching tile color is nice but if you want to highlight tile unique shape, might try a shade darker.

I agree what you have is a nice match.... but yes, a shade or 2 darker help define the beautiful tile you've chosen.

I really like what you've chosen. To me, any darker and it would look dirty. I like how the colour you have still defines the tile but also brightens it rather than making it look muddy like the shadows in the ungrouted tile do.

This tile is lovely and like the grout color. I personally like grout close to the tile color. Otherwise it makes me dizzy. What is this shape/pattern called? I haven't seen it before.

I like the soft subtlety of the color. Works really well with those tiles.

I would do a test patch with grout one shade darker. The test patch of grout is maybe just a bit too subtle.

Thank you for everyone’s comments and kind words! I will see if I can get a picture of the darker test patch this weekend. This is a two-color wide hex twist from Heath. I’ll post kitchen pics once the kitchen is done in hopefully a couple weeks.

To really know we have to see a distance pic with lighting. The tile is very nice. I'd say worth it.

What you have there is fine. If it were me, I think I would go a shade darker, but that is entirely a matter of personal preference. When I compare the grouted area to the ungrouted area, I like the definition of the ungrouted area. YMMV.

The display photo has slightly darker grout. That’s best IMO.

I prefer the lighter grout, it is subdued and elegant.

I’d find out the exact grout they used in Dan’s photo above and use that one. It looks amazing!

Slightly darker would be my vote. I think your tile is stunning and will be the star of your kitchen. Do a test with a darker grout and see if you like it better. The matching grout is good but give yourself another option.

you tested it on the already tiled wall? or is that a sample tile patch? (if you tested it on the wall how do you plan on matching it ? )

I don't like that color grout. you paid good money for that pattern, why would you want to hide it? go for darker, more contrast. the way it is now it just melts into the tile and you don't get the effect of the braided picket design

Too much contrast won't hide the little imperfect spacings between the sheets so I'd keep it subtle. Very pretty!

I'd go just a shade darker, and I a someone who normally likes the grout to blend in with the tile. You need just a bit more contrast.

Dan's photo nails it. That's the colour ... not too dark, not too light.

We don’t know how large of an area you tiled. I too would keep it subtle and classy.
