Your roses are amazingly beautiful, Hoang Ton, and your Desdemona is a stunner!

I have her, but from day 1 she has hated being here in my very windy zone 11.

    Lovely video, thanks for sharing.

Hoang Ton: I received my 6 Air-pots (GROW-GREEN, 7 gallon at 11.8 in x 15.7 in. each with saucer), bought from Amazon. It was a good buy for $60, and husband used his drill to put them together in less than 10 min. There are many holes at the bottom, how do you prevent soil from leaching out? Thank you. The saucer at bottom for each pot comes with my order.

straw, i don't have the soil leaching out problem, only when i first water it, then after that it's not a problem

The blooms are impressive and gorgeous, but so is the perfect shape of the plant itself. Well done. Diane

Hoang Ton, what type of soil do you use in your pots? Your roses are glorious! I wish I could spend an hour in your garden and just enjoy the beauty and the scents!

Hoang Ton, thank you! I have planted three roses in large containers and now second guess myself. So many formulas out there, a bit overwhelming. Glad your straightforward approach produced such great results for you. Hopefully, my babies will do ok as well.

    1. How big is your pot? and how often do you feed your roses? I got Desdemona tree rose last year. This is the 2nd year and has lot of buds.

    And Friends,

I was sent this rose 2021 soring by DA, bareroot & was supposed to be Eglantyne I ordered. Later I thought it was Heritage. However, recently ai discovered w/ it’s light pink startibg out then akways fading to whitish blooms & yellow centers that it is Desdemona. (DA sent me a replacement Eglantyne.) But now that I know it’s Desdemona-I am so excited. Esp. after seeing your big bush of blooms. I saw many videos with blooms all white, too too-so it’s defibtely Desdemona! She has 2 colors: starts out light pink but in hot sun fades to pearly white! My rose is a newbie so just a few photos…

DesdemonaDESDEMONA, cool spring photos 2021, newbie…

This year 2022 she had late start being a bate root making it through my wonter. Next wi ter I burlap her. She now has white blooms & yellow centers in 90F.

These Desdemona pics are so pretty. She is very girly and blossoms looks to be open just enough to let the bees in. I have a feral bee colony lol..long story. I am trying to get it moved into a 10 frame beehive so am trying to grow more stuff for the honey bees.

@Hoang Ton - Zone 9a zi am wondering about growing roses in Floruda. Your roses look oerfect-oerfect leaves and no bugs. What do you do to co trol thropes, sawflies, aphids & mildew/BS? I can see you havng large rose bushes in Florida w/ your sun! I looked at your oatio rose video w/ all your roses-outstanding garden! The roses seem to do especially well in pots. I think pits help them be most healthy…. soacibg them away from otger olants so they can have air circulate & oerfect potting soil. Kept in sunny area coukd keep them dry so less BS.

Can I order that type of pot? Where from?
