Ooooh I like it! What about the Rus chair from that store?

I don't like the rattan ones they pictured with the table at the link--slinky tapered table legs need slinky tapered chair legs.

Too bad number two isn't in oak.

What about Levity dining chairs? Easily washable removable slipcovers in your Scandinavian/MidMod style. (I love the concept and have always wanted to try their furniture, but it’s not my style. So I’m pushing it on you instead. :)

This table looks flimsy to me. Do not go with heavy chairs please.

What about something with rattan? There are others out there but linking these to show the vibe: https://www.williams-sonoma.com/m/products/sullivan-woven-dining-side-chair/

The table looks too big for the space. Keep in mind that you need to be able to pull the chairs back at least 3' for the diner to get in and out of the chair comfortably. The light (I thought your husband didn't like this kind of material) looks off center, too.

Measurements for table and the dining area would help us make suggestions.

Oy, missed reading that your husband doesn't like rattan? I still think something with some rattan will fit the look.

Less rattan?
