Anyone else got blooming amaryllis?

I only have artificial ones that bloom all year in the top of the closet...😉

Seriously, I love that yours have rebloomed.

This blooms in my back yard every March, but I don't know what it is:

A friend who does gardening for me planted it and I don't remember what he told me about it. It has leaves and a stalk that are similar to Amaryllis, and so it might be related, but the flowers are very different.

My trader Joes Amarylis bloomed twice and now is shooting up a green leaf. I might plant it outside. Last year's lasted for one full year with just green leaves after the blooming.

Socks, yes, I have Amaryllis blooming. They are starting to fade now. I have these and some of the smaller flowered red ones.

They were my mother's favorite flower. She would buy the potted bulbs, then plant them out after they bloomed I'm the house.

I have a lot of them blooming and have been for a while now. They are beautiful!

SoCalGal, I think you are right. It does look like a Scadoxus, and that is in the Amaryllus family, as I suspected. It is planted in the ground, and I have to put snail bait around it when it comes up, as slugs love it.

I have one that looks like your pink one, socks. It's in the ground and finished blooming about a week ago. I used to have red ones in the ground too, and would cut a stalk and bring it inside. They make nice cut flowers and last a good while. I still have the red plants, but they haven't bloomed in years, since I moved them to a different bed. I think they need a sunnier spot.

I was given one with the wax "bulb" at christmas and it took forever to bloom but it finally did. I wasn't sure what to do with it once it shriveled up and just kind of left it alone. It actually bloomed again this week with two flowers. I was amazed because I can't keep anything alive. Once I killed an airplant.
