Here are a couple photos of what my kitchen currently looks like. Excuse the mess.

moving a waterline to accomodate a new sink under the window

may be more than you want to invest.

I'd start with clearing out the space and figuring out your needs and budget.

Is the new sink at the top of the want/need list?

discussing the project with a licensed plumber is the first step.

if this is an older dwelling that you own and hasn't had anything done be alert to asbestos and lead. You need a comprehensive plan. a tight budget and timeline doesn't fit what I see there. do you have a renter: if you have equity and income stream you would have more capacity to get a loan and hire professional help. I'm not certain this is a serious post. But purporting A DIY with this is not really very cool or fun or interesting.

Please post a to scale floor plan and proper pics not these realtor type pics . The minute you start moving plumbing you have a full scale remodel in your future .Please post pics without the huge amount of clutter that screams for more storage for sure . The to scale plan will help us help you but you need to be realistic in that to make this a more functional space will require more money . I do agree with herbflavor on this post.

$1.98 budget says declutter and clean. Then draw up your floor plan to scale. Then go in the basement and scope out your plumbing system and electrical panels. Then research plumbing and electrical enough to understand what you’ve investigated, and the obstscles to moving and changing things.

You don’t actually DO a single thing until you’ve done all of that systems exploration and a whole lot of front end planning to work with the house’s particulars, instead of against them. Doing a quick DIY where you’re way in over you head will just cost you double when the pro has to come take over the project and fix it.
