We need to know where you are located geographically in order to make plant suggestions. It would also be helpful if you can provide photos taken at more of distance in order to show the entire area under consideration in context.

And just an FYI but the polls really don't have much function in a discussion forum :-) They are actually a pretty useless feature of the website regardless. And you will likely generate more and better responses if you post this in more topic specific forums....like Landscape Design, Perennials or Shrubs.
