The “after” looks attractive, but the two lumpy/voluminous white throws seem excessive. When I am ready to go to bed, I don’t want to have to remove a bunch of decorative pillows and excess bed covering. Maybe just keep the purple pillows…less to move.

Agree with @felizlady. There are too many things in this bedroom. Take away the pillows, throws, whatever and post a photo of just the room with the furniture and the made bed. It could be a very calming environment but it’s overloaded.

The contrast is too great. Find curtain panels with some design that includes the dark purple. Imagine how a white swirl of some sort over that purple would give life to the curtains.

Agree with arcy……the contrast is too stark. The soft purple bed cover is much better than the eggplant curtains against all that white.
