Two entangled plants. Updated Pics

The one I am pretty sure is Amsonia Blue Star. The other I have no idea. A first I though it was the same plant but the one towards the back now has small drooping buds and I have no idea what it is. I guess I should dig them up to separate them.






I put down compost yesterday and that's when I figured out it was two plants.

    It looks like something in Asteraceae to me. Can you submit another photo of a flower when it opens? Leaves and stem remind me of Rudbeckia hirta, but the look questionable.
