pool close to existing deck

Ideas on how to how to use existing deck to build around pool? There is a small space as seen pictures between current deck and pool. There is also a high difference where the deck is higher than the pool. Lowering the deck would be hard are this a sliding door to the deck from house and another door that goes onto the deck from the house.
