1. Don't use Swiffer juice. It might be the Microban surface protection layer that is holding on to the footprints, but there are many threads about matte LVP flooring showing footprints more than high gloss. The Mannington (the brand you purchased) website suggests, 'a solution of clear, non-sudsy ammonia based cleaner in one gallon of warm water,' which isn't Swiffer. I have matte LVP and I use water and white vinegar without foot marks.

It was explained by someone (other threads) that foot oil stays on plastic flooring (what LVP is). In your case, the installers (in their infinite care of clients' flooring) walked on yours with their outdoor shoes. You might have to do some handwork with a heavier vinegar base.

Ultimately don't let your life be ruled by footprints on flooring. There's more to life than allowing the that to live rent-free in your mind.

problem with our swiss oak almond floors! Any suggestions or improvements? ive been using the cleaning solution probided by the installers, but footprints are back on the floors newry immediately!
