What are the dimensions? I would have thought you already have plenty of plants for the space. In fact I’d reduce them to two. The spiky iris leaves and one of the low domed plants, not both. The Carissa would be a good protection against being trampled by passing people or animals, being thorny, but the mail person might not appreciate it, especially if they wear shorts.
