That is a nice bloom Nancy. I always like green throated daylilies. Bill Maryott use to also cut off a good portion of the daylily roots before he shipped. I had mixed results with his intros in NY. Sometimes though I find that EV's act more like SEV in NY. I can't recall if I have any EV's here in the new place.

Nice! I'll take any bloom, cheater or not. Heavenly Bengal Tiger is putting up a cheater scape here. We always let them bloom and then the daylily blooms at the regular time too.

It would be nice if it would bloom again, although it may be blooming close to its normal time, it is an extra early. It is listed as a rebloomer though, so maybe... I like that green throat too. Supposed to be 30" tall with a very high bud count, would be nice if that comes true.

That's a nice one to have first. Maryott daylilies always seem to have a nice form. I only had a couple of his and I lost them during my one year of rust. Hopefully it will rebloom for you and you can post it again.................Maryl

Nancy, love that yellow bloom, the green throat is a bonus. I have a new appreciation for yellow daylilies…… love the contrast with all of the pink and purple daylilies I have.

Sherry, I am a big fan of pinks and purples, but I have so many, I realized that yellows and whites really make the others pop. Although, in all honesty, it was described as white/cream. More yellow to my eye, but love that edge that has almost a green look.

Love the bloom!! This is one I have been eyeing and your bloom tells me why!!
