While traveling in Florida, I purchased this plant at a nursery. The nursery didnt have a name for it, and i have seen several that it could be. Any suggestions?
It looks like a Neoregelia of some sort. I have a lot of those that I've not identified. Here's one
When I bought it, it was listed as "Assorted Neoregelia" but I can tell that it is a miniature because it stays small, and it tends to branch out.
There is an outside chance that it is a Vriesea, but the shape of the leaves looks more like Neoregelia. You will be able to tell the difference when it blooms. It is a lot easier to identify any bromeliad when it blooms.
