Big flying bug that looks like a mosquito? Mosquitos are not big so this big flying bug is not a mosquito. Are they crane flies? If so they are harmless.

Yes the water issue should be addressed but if the water is not standing there for 10 to 14 days then mosquitos are not an issue.

@Vinmarks. Crane flies, for some unknown reason we called them seargent majors.

Im betting she has mayflies and not mosquitoes.

Mine look more like Crane flies. The images online are so clear and detailed, compared to what I have glimpses of them. I think they Crane Fly more than others. Thanks
