The rain did indeed help pop them out, did it not? I saw the same scenario in my garden. Love the reds-so pretty. Kiss of Paradise always looks good for you. So glad your season appears to have begun in earnest. Looking forward to your new seedlings as well as your reviews of older seedlings!

Those two reds are fantastic! It's amazing what a good rain will do for the quality of the flowers. I really like Victoria Garden Heavens Applauce too. Kiss of Paradise is always one of our first to bloom also.

Thanks for the comments! Bloom has started, and I'm not nearly done weeding and mulching. My motto is Seedlings First, so they were the first ones to get weeded and fertilized. Now that I have seven seedling beds that takes a very long time. I don't get to many of the beds with registered daylilies. All but two of those are very overgrown with weeds. It's so overwhelming. I need to get rid of 400 of the registered ones. Unfortunately I can think of only about seven I'm willing to part with. LOL

What a nice beginning, hurray for rain! That is alot of potential culling to do….i understand the overwhelming work that goes along with that many plants. Aging is taking a toll on me, the last thing I want to do now is add to my garden space…..taking care of what is here is plenty.

That is one of the beauties of rain, isn't it, Debra? I particularly like Kiss of Paradise. And Aunt Patsy is a really lovely red as is Unbound. Can't choose between them.
