Organic control? Nematodes. But not inexpensive and you need the right timing.

FWIW, not all rhodies are equally attractive to weevils so you can research those that they avoid.

While they do affect appearance, the weevils are pretty harmless to the plant and most just tolerate them. My rule of thumb is that if not sited right by the front entry, observe the 10 foot rule - site the plants at least 10 feet away from the most common walking or viewing areas and ignore ;-)) You won't even notice the notches.

That's interesting about the "Weevil attractiveness", as we have many rhodies and only some have the notches. Since it doesn't hurt the plant, I don't care enough to spend much money or time. I have many other plants to look at. :o)
