It is good to the season is going strong in your neck of the woods. I see some rain shots in here too….always makes for lovely photos. Napa alley Merlot is my favorite today……also liking Lilian’s Thin Ice, good bud count too.

Big Hearted Jim appears to have a well-budded scape, though branching isn't totally clear from picture.

Well there's a beauty for me. Napa Valley Merlot is sooo pretty. Thank you for remembering me. One of my dark flowered fancy ones had it's first bloom today, but due to the cool temperatures this AM, it got about 20% open and quit. Now the heat/humidity are back, so hopefully that part will stop.......All your dark purples are appealing, but even though it's a UF, I like your take on Lillian's Thin Ice too..............Maryl

I always think of Lillian’s Vapor Trail as being Mick Jagger and Lillian’s Thin Ice as Grace Kelly!!!

I don't know how I missed this post! I love that Windyhill Dark Secret! Skater looks great in your garden, as does Lillian's Thin Ice. Did it ever multiply for you? Vapor Trails always looks like that for me. I wish I could find someone to give it to. Lots of lovelies on this post! I'm glad I finally found it.

Debra, I can’t believe you remembered my trials with LTI. Yes, I moved it from one prime location to another and it is multiplying and doing well. I think I temember reading about someone once asking Tim Bell about one of his cultivars not doing well. Bell’s response was ”Move it!!” Often seems to work.

Napa Valley Merlot is a pretty one, and Skater looks good too. I was pretty sure yours would be picking up...My Lillian's Vapor Trail looks a lot like yours.
