The room is in shambles because we're in the middle of painting, but I would really love some curtain input. I really love my rug and think I want to pull from the blue in it. I don't love the idea of solid blue curtains, but would the pattern in the rug and a patterned curtain over power the room? Should I switch it up and go with stripes? What would you do? I'm including pictures of the room and the rug along with the pillows I plan on getting and a few curtains I've been eyeing, but unsure of. Should I go crazy and pull from the black in the floor? I'm tempted to paint the windows black... (Also tempted to paint the book shelves black, but my husband really does not like that idea).
