Exterior Update?

Hi, I'm looking to update (color change etc) this home to sell. The roof and trim is a milky chocolate metal with some stucco with cream vinyl siding. Ideas would be much appreciated...

May I suggest you power wash the entire house before painting? I love the look of a creamy white house with brown trim. Think about widening the trim around the windows and removing the storm door. I think a barn red color on the front door would really pop and you could use the same color to paint the blue garage in the background.

Thank you for those good suggestions & it gives the windows & door some significance and a "pop".

Btw I have never lived in this home, it is only to flip it. To modernize it, I was even debating to paint the whole thing & maybe even remove the siding, maybe faux stone or nothing...

Im having a hard time working with the milky chocolate brown. Yes the green/blue shop is also slated for coordinating paint.

I welcome further color ideas if doing a full redo

The house looks good, the landscaping not so much. What are those weird stumps in the front yard? f they are pollarded trees or grape vines, be sure to have pics of them looking good.

Ideally, you'd put a path from your front steps. If not, make the entry way (pic of truck and dirt) look good. A hosta by the steps, some potted plants by the door.

Paint the door or the storm. The bright white juxtaposed against the cream is not good.

You had another post to which I responded today about the garage that goes with the house. Someone had suggested to coordinate it with the house which I also thought was I good idea. However in your other post you never mentioned you never lived there and that you intended to paint/renovate to sell. Other than paint, I wouldn't invest in anything else at this time, you might not even want to paint the whole house. I'll look at want can be done with cream vinyl assuming it's in good shape.

Yes sorry this is my first time posting & I should have shown the house with the shop because yes it's best if they coordinate which they currently do not.

Yes the cream vinyl siding is in good shape.

    Thank you

For the house, assuming you'll be powerwashing everything clean, I would suggest you replace what is painted in brown with black (where suggested): at the roof line, wider on the window frames (they seem to be in 2 pieces in your picture = white/brown/white). So the coulour scheme becomes cream with black trim. For a bit of a punch, I show a lime green door on porch, front and garage. The garage body is painted dark grey with cream trim, black garage door. I show new outdoor black sconces on the porch and front door. I also suggest you do a minimum of landscaping. And there seems lots of stuff around, either put it away if you can or build some fencing such as the one I show on the right side of the house to hide it. So far nothing very expensive to do for a facelift...
