That bed is pretty now, but a few more days it will be gorgeous! So many pretty ones, but Clown Parade is always my favorite, at least until mine starts blooming. My Queen of Camelot was doing well, had really multiplied nicely. It was getting overtaken by a peony though. So I chose to move the Queen. Just a couple of feet away, it promptly died. I don't know what went wrong, I waited til weather was cooler, moved it with a good clump. Just happens sometimes. Oh, Colby Coventry is really nice too.

Very pretty group, Kate. I love the garden shot, and Colby Coventry Clown Parade and Lady Dragon are my picks today.. Queen of Camelot is lovely, and made even more so by the pink roses.

Crystal Rubies is quite the stunner. I would think with rubies in the name, it would be red instead of purple. Omomuki is such a nice yellow! The photos of Queen of Camelot and Sherry Candy caught my eye. A very lovely group!

I must have just got the post as it was appearing because there were no labels on the individual daylillies. Thanks for the answer on Skater. I like the color and pattern. I looked it up and it's an Evergreen unfortunately. I like that Queen of Camelot next to the rose. Nice placement............Maryl

Nancy, I am sorry about Queen-but yes sometimes they just don’t like the move transition.

Thanks, Kay. The rose is a miniature in a pot which is placed next to the Queen. It has been pretty this year.

Debra, that photo of Crystal Rubies was taken at 6 a.m. and is a deeper color. But it is never red.

Kate: The bed shot is great to see and I'm sure it will be filled with blooms shortly. . Is Omomuki color a yellow/green? Different from the usual bright yellows.

Imlove that garden shot…… Colby Coventry and Crystal Rubies cught my eye. Omomuki is a great yellow and it looks like a great performer…all those buds.

Kay, I know what you mean. I feel that way about it in the garden too!!

Julia, I would not call Omomuke a yellow/green. It does look thst way in those early morning shots in morning shade but when the sun hits it, it is just yellow.

Here it is on a single early morning bloom.

And here is late afternoon blloom. I picked it to compare to my ”Kate’s Smile” noid in my search to id it. Omomuki is the smaller bloom and as you can see, totally yellow.

Nice bunch of flowers. I love seeing garden shots. I think I like Queen of Camelot the best.
