I think you’re very right in not getting a lighted mirror. I would probably have a sconce or sconces put there, depending on what mirror you get. I wouldn’t do overhead lighting.

Maybe wait and see. Use a lamp for now (I love lamps in bathrooms) and see what your needs are, how you’re going to decorate, etc.

Thank you! Probably best to wait and see as you suggest. While we took measurements for a mirror, I don't recall the true colors of the bathroom... joys of moving, right? :)

id consider it doesnt look like the mirror was ever low enough for use while sitting, and you would probably end up using a make up mirror . I too would wait and see.

I could recommend a few places actually sell a LED strip light that can easily wrap around your mirror, so you would not have to drill any wholes in your wall and you can save the space on your wall for pictures or another shelf for your make-up.
