Matte counters show everything. That should be an expectation for choosing them. A microfiber cloth, hot water, and Dawn, and then polish dry with a microfiber. Thst will get off the hand oils. But you will have to keep that on repeat play.

Sorry if the picture didn’t show it well and I failed to mention it, but this is a polished slab. We’ve also already tried BKF soft cleaner and warm water and a microfiber. Always well rinsed aftwrward and polished dry.

I'd try some Tenax Quartz Toner.

The spots were there

immediately after the installers left. I tried the BKF after finding the spots. The BKF definitely didn’t cause

them.

Bar Keeper Friend liquid gets those streaks out.

@User - if you click on the photo for full resolution, you can clearly see the dark splotches that I’m talking about. It certainly doesn’t look like different aggregates and resins. It has perfect little circles where acetone dribbled in the dark splotch.
