i like them all, Debra! Lime Peel is such a nice color. Kindred Jewel is lovely, and I think it is my favorite today I tried Bill Norris once, and lost it; and it is a lovely yellow. Yourr seedling is stepping up; a delicate combo of colors.

Thanks Kay! I wish Kindred Jewel performed better. Last year it only had three buds per 9-inch scape. This time I think it has 7-8 on 14-inch scapes. I had a seedling that grew like gangbusters in this same spot.

I have seen Lime Peel posted in other places, and finding it appealing. Yours looks very good. I have a few similar though, i need to look away.... Love Buddy's Black Eye! I agree about Bill Norris, mine has no blooms yet, but it has more shade than it would like. Kindred Jewell is beautiful, the look I always am drawn to. Shame it can be splotchy and is not performing well.

I like Lime Peel a lot but like Nancy I need to look away as I have several with that same look! Hopefully Kindred Jewel will shape up. I know what you mean about Bluegrass Shadows but the last few blooms on mine have been almost perfect even in heavy dew!!

Beautiful! Lime Peel is really nice! Kindred Jewel is really pretty too. Bill Norris is one we will always grow too--one of our nicest yellows.

Thanks everyone for your comments. The place where Lime Peel was growing now has too much shade, so I moved it last fall. I hope it will flourish in its new spot. It's registered as a midseason bloomer and always bloomed midseason when I had it in a pot. But the ground it's always an early.

You know you've got my attention with the color yellow. I'm beginning to appreciate a few yellows outside my favored warm sunny yellow. The lime green shade for instance (as in my Rudy's sister) just grabs me as does your Lime Peel. In person it just shouts "look at me".......Bill Norris is a golden oldie that so many like........You had a pink seedling last year I liked quite a bit. Did it have Pink Aloha as a parent? You have so many nice pinks I'm afraid I forget...............Maryl

Bill Norris always catches my eye. Seedling looks good and a nice soft color. Is Lemon Lime a "leaner" when loaded with buds and blooms?

Julia - Lime Peel can lean a bit, especially after strong storm winds. When it's dry and the winds are calm, it's straight as an arrow. I do love that pink seedling. It's too bad things have been so dry. I'm unable to evaluate plant habit on my early seedlings because of the lack of rain.

Maryl - I do have several good pink seedlings now, so I will be crossing them all with each other. The Pink Aloha seedling did very well last year with bud counts in the mid and high 20s. I doubt it will have that this year though. It's a mid-season bloomer, so it will be awhile before it blooms.

Brad - Lime Peel starts out green in the mornings, but I noticed in the evening after a 91 degree day that there wasn't any of that green showing.

I'll be looking forward to seeing the Pink Aloha seedling to see if it jogs my memory. Bud count of 20 last year sounds impressive. I lost my Pink Aloha again this winter. 3rd strike and you are out - even for Pink Aloha. Apparently the pot system doesn't work well for her...............Maryl

Maryl - I'm so sorry you lost Pink Aloha again. I lost it once in a pot too. It seems very happy in the ground here.
