You can get away with the standard cheaper option and the roses will be fine. I am in the St Louis area

A few weeks ago I had roses semt ( not RVR) and it took 8 days and they were perfect. Sending them Priority was kind of a waste because they took way longer than 3 days

Either option is high isnt it.

Thanks much for the responses! I ended up going with the standard option, and played around with the number of roses. The most cost effective shipping was 10 roses ($3.70 per rose), so I will just make myltiple orders if I decide I really need the ones I left behind. lol.

The $67. is just for SHIPPING??? For how many roses?

Shipping across country tends to cost around $60. That's why I tend to buy mail order roses most often from places on my side of the Rockies.

That's a common issue, @jerijen. It's why we can't really buy from Rose Petals Nursery here in the west. They've tweaked their shipping so it isn't QUITE as horrific. They raised the plant prices $5 and lowered the shipping a bit. Now, ordering one plant from the to come to California runs $20 for the plant and between $28.73 and $75.41 shipping, depending upon method. Three plants run $60 for the plants and between $36.65 and $133.59; six plants cost $120 and between $63.10 and $210.82. Those larger plants in larger, heavier pots of dirt are expensive.

Jeri, lol. It was for 15 roses. After tweaking I discovered that 10 roses is the best way to maximize the shipping. Above that it took a big leap.

I placed a order fro. K&M and for 4 roses it was $60. For 2 it was $40

Shipping is so high

Burlington keeps her shipping at $5

I dont know if that is just west coast or not
